Sir Julian Goldsmid was a British lawyer, businessman and Liberal politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1866 and 1896. Amongst other interests, he was colonel of the 1st Sussex Rifle Volunteers as well as honorary colonel of the 1st Sussex Artillery Volunteers. Julian Goldsmid belonged to a prominent family of British Jews.
