On the right of this picture, taken in the early 1900’s, it shows the gun battery mound which is now incorporated into the fun fair at harbour park.
The 1760 East bank battery at Littlehampton. The battery faced the sea with the River Arun on its west boundary and the sloping ramp facing in land.
